This is the best recipe for thousand island dressing I have come across. It is fresh, thick and luxurious and you won’t be able to stop eating it! Amazing for homemade Reuben sandwiches
1 cup Hellman’s (Best on West Coast) Mayo (do not use Miracle whip, it is too sweet and will over power the dressing)
1/2 cup minced sweet pickles or gherkins (do not substitute sweet relish, it overpowers the dressing)
1/4 cup chili sauce
4 green olives with pimientos, minced
2 tablespoons minced fresh parsley
1 tablespoon water
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Whisk together ingredients until smooth. Refrigerate to chill. Whisk to combine before using. Can be refrigerated for up to 4 days.
