The Ultimate Post-workout Protein Shake

I am not a fan of protein shakes, they usually taste chalky and gross, but they are really handy right after a hard workout, when you need something fast and full of good protein. Here is what I came up with.

1 cup pomegrante Kefir
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
2 scoops 100% whey protein booster

Put all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.

Kefir has 140 cal; 20g total carb and 11g protein
Blueberries have about 50 cal; 17g total carbs and 1g protein
100% Whey protein booster has 80 cal; 1g total carb and 16g protein

I use Lifeway Kefir, it comes in many flavors.
I use Naturade 100% Whey protein booster (it contains whey concentrate, whey isolate and hydrolyzed whey)
Blueberries can be bought fresh, washed, dried and frozen.

It is the perfect post workout shake.
